How do I add transport impacts?
Transport impacts of a project can be added when you create your project, or can be added afterwards by editing your project. The impact will be linked to the boundary of the project.
In the future we will be introducing an impact layer, so that you can see transport impacts on the map.
Impacts are anything which may affect the transport network – such as the closure of a traffic lane for a period of time, a lane drop, or stop/go. You can also add impacts to the berm, cycle path, footpath and on-street car parking.
Adding traffic impacts on project creation:
After filling in the project summary page, you’ll be prompted to add a boundary to your project. After this you can also add your traffic impacts.

Adding impacts when the project already exists in the FWV:
Transport impacts can be added to projects that already exist in the FWV. To do this, you will need to be either a ‘project planner’ or ‘project editor’ permission.
Click ‘edit’ on the project, and select ‘add transport impacts’. This will take you to the adding impacts page.
