Transport Disruption Assessment report – Notifications are now enabled
If you have set up a Transport Disruption Assessment report, you can now turn on notifications. This means you’ll receive a weekly email which will alert you to any new projects which have appeared in the report. To turn on the notification, click the ‘envelope’ icon next to your report name in the Dashboard panel.
New basemap selection and a map legend
We have introduced two new basemaps for you to choose from – monochrome and dark mode. These make the map less cluttered and easier to view. Look for the basemap option in the top right hand corner of the map.
We have also added a new map legend – this will make it a lot easier to understand the different colours on the map!
Share a saved search with another FWV user
If you have created a saved search, you’re able to share this with another FWV user. This is particularly handy if you have created a saved search with extensive criteria and a custom drawn boundary and you want a colleague to set up a watchlist with the same project results as you.
Once you’ve saved a search, in the ‘Saved search’ dropdown on the search panel there is a new ‘share’ icon next to the trash can. Click this and copy the URL and share this with another user, when they click on the link it’ll automatically populate the search panel with your search criteria. They can then save the search to their FWV user account.
Improvements to stage workflow
We have noticed that more and more users are creating projects with stages, but the workflow is a bit cumbersome so we’ve made some improvements. We have changed the way stages are displayed on the stage tab. Stages which have passed their end date will turn grey and move to the bottom of the page, whilst stages which remain in progress and planned will remain white and at the top of the list.

View clashes, opportunities and disruption layers from a watchlist and a transport disruption assessment report
Users will soon be able to click on the number of clashes/opportunities/TDA in a watchlist and a TDA report which will open up a table within the watchlist table and display what are the projects that are the clash/opportunity and what is the intersecting layer.
Export search results
Users will be able to export search results into an excel document for offline use.
