Redevelopment Update -​ important information for go live

We’ve been talking about it long enough – but we are within weeks of launching the newly developed Forward Works Viewer platform and retiring the existing system – woohoo! 

If everything goes to plan then we are looking at doing this in the first week of April. 

What does this mean for me?

We aren’t transferring existing accounts across, so you’ll need to sign up for a new account when we go live.  You’ll know the new system has gone live because the homepage will look like the below.  The web address will remain the same (www.forwardworks.co.nz)

To sign up for a new account, just click ‘Register Now’ underneath the Log In text.   If you want to be able to edit and add projects for your organisation, select ‘Project planner’ access.  If you just need view only, select ‘Business user’ access.  

All project data will be transferred across to the new system.

If your organisation extracts data from the existing system, this will be affected by the launch of the new system.  Please contact support@forwardworks.co.nz for instructions on how to extract data from the new system. 

Why are you making me sign up for a new account, can’t my old account be transferred across?

The new system uses a different security module and it’s tricky to transfer existing users and passwords across to the new system.  By making you sign up for a new account, it’s more secure. 

Is the new system hard to use? 

Nope! We reckon it’s easier if anything! But we’re creating help guides and videos to help you through the change, these will be published when we launch and accessible from the new platform.
